“I’ve been attending Helena First with some close friends since around March. I have never once left without feeling so much love, having an open heart to God and meeting and hearing from some of the nicest people I’ve ever met.”

“I’ve started attending Helena First on some Wednesday nights, due to my work schedule, and I really enjoy it. Pastor Paul gives awesomely funny and relatable sermons, everyone is friendly, and the band is really cool too.”

WHAT TO EXPECT

PARKING

We recommend parking in our south lots on your first visit, but feel free to park anywhere you’d like. Our business neighbors even welcome you to park there!

ENTRANCES

The main entrance into each building is on the south side, but wherever you see people coming in and out is fair game.

FAMILIES

We have fun and safe learning environments for children and youth of all ages. The “FAMILIES” menu at the top of this page will lead you to all the details.

COFFEE

We love you AND… we love our coffee! Free coffee and tea is available as you walk in the door. You’re welcome to bring it with you into the sanctuary.

SERVICES

Our 70-minute worship services are well-planned, but not stuffy, opportunities for you to connect with God in a positive and energetic environment. You don’t need to know when to sit, stand, or anything else. Services start with a band playing upbeat music and singing; leading us in worship. It’s followed by an engaging 35-minute message from one of our pastors (streamed live in Townsend). Lastly, an offering is received but, as our guest, feel free to let it pass you by.

DRESS

Helena First is for everyone. Wear whatever you find comfortable (except maybe your PJs).

COMMUNION

We typically serve Communion once a month. If you’re a follower of Jesus, you’re welcome to join us. At your seat, ushers will pass to you a bread wafer and a small cup of juice. A pastor will lead everyone in prayer and receiving of Communion. If you’re not a Jesus follower yet, no worries… just pass the bread and juice on to the next person and no one will look at you cross-eyed (no pun intended).

PRAYER

We often invite people to the front for individual prayer while the band is playing. We have Prayer Team members that will briefly pray with you, believing in faith for God to answer!
